Are you facing the eternal dilemma: tea or yerba mate? We have a solution for that - yerbatea! That is, a combination of yerba mate and tea!

Mary Rose Yunnan Sapphire yerbatea combines Brazilian green yerba mate with the intense flavour of yunnan black tea. The even, coarsely cut pieces of Ilex paraguariensis leaves form an amazingly aesthetically coherent composition with black tea leaves and sapphire cornflower petals. The additives such as dried chokeberry fruit, lemon peel and lemongrass are responsible for the unique flavour of this blend. The combination of yerba mate and tea has a slightly weaker stimulating effect than "full-sized" yerba mate. Yerbatea is therefore ideal for beginner infusion enthusiasts who are not yet familiar with the stimulating power of yerba mate.

How to prepare Mary Rose Yunnan Sapphire yerbatea?

Just like yerba mate - using a mate gourd and a bombilla. Fill up the gourd with dry yerbatea to about 1/3 of its volume, pour in water at a maximum temperature of 80°C and drink through the bombilla. You can also brew yerbatea in the same way as regular tea - in a mug, without a bombilla, but using an infuser to filter out the rather fine fragments of dried yerbatea.

Mary Rose Yerbatea - a surprising combination of Brazilian yerba mate and tea!

Mary Rose offers not only high quality coffee and inspiring natural edible flowers, but also a wide selection of the finest quality teas from the world's most esteemed plantations. Mary Rose offers classic flavours of black and green teas, as well as the less popular pu-erh tea, appreciated for its health promoting properties. Apart from classic flavours you will also find surprising, original compositions, which will stimulate your palate with their unique tastes. The Mary Rose offer also has something for those who can't decide what they like better - tea or yerba mate? The solution is yerbatea! It's a combination of the flavour of green, air-dried yerba mate straight from Brazil with a variety of teas - green, black, red and even decaffeinated rooibos.
