Bro Coffee Roastery Colombia Medellin Premium – Andean arabica with a clean profile 🌄
Bro Coffee Roastery Colombia Medellin Premium is whole bean coffee grown in the Medellín region of Colombia and roasted fresh. The coffee trees grow on the mountain slopes of the Andes, at an altitude of 1200-2000 masl, where cooler nights slow down the ripening of the cherries and allow them to develop a richer aroma. The coffee is made from the Bourbon, Caturra and Typica arabica varieties.
After harvesting, the beans underwent washed processing – the fruit pulp was removed before drying and the beans were rinsed in water. This method gives the coffee a clean, clear taste and well-defined acidity. Bro Coffee Roastery takes them to a medium light (3/5) roast, which protects the fruity notes while developing sweetness.
In the cup, Colombia Medellin combines chocolate and caramel with fruity hints of red currant and orange. The acidity is medium, the body medium, and the overall profile stays harmonious and easy to enjoy. It is a versatile coffee: it works well in an espresso machine, in pour-over methods and in milk-based drinks. ☕
Quality confirmed by the SCA score 🏆
What is the SCA scale? It is a globally recognised bean quality grading system, developed by the Specialty Coffee Association. Qualified experts subject the coffee to rigorous tests, evaluating its key parameters on a 100-point scale – from aroma and acidity, all the way to balance and sweetness. Exceeding the 80-point threshold guarantees that we are dealing with outstanding beans, free from any defects.
The creators of the Bro Coffee Roastery brand focus on uncompromising quality and artisanal precision. Every single bean undergoes rigorous selection, as evidenced by an impressive score of 82 points on the SCA scale. This proudly classifies this coffee within the elite group of speciality quality. What does this mean in practice? By choosing this product, you can be certain that your cup will be filled with a brew boasting a flawless, rich sensory profile and a clean taste, with absolutely no room for defects. It is a quality that every true coffee lover will appreciate!
