The dry mate is characterised by a smoky aroma. When poured over water, it has a bitter and tangy taste, with smoky notes and a strong stimulating effect. El Fuego is produced on a prestigious plantation in the department of Itapúa, located in the south of Paraguay. It is dusty, intense and bitter, with strong, smoky notes in its flavour and aroma. It is a typical, highly stimulating Paraguayan yerba mate, which will win the palates of experienced mate drinkers, familiar with the taste of real yerba mate and looking for a high quality product. El Fuego is produced by the traditional production method, called barbacuá, which consists in drying by flames of fire and hot smoke, and then maturing for 2 years, gaining strength. Every sip of yerba mate El Fuego stimulates and gives lots of energy.
